Welcome to my page!  I am excited to begin my eighth year of teaching at SJRCS.  I can say that as a parent of four wonderful daughters that have attended SJRCS, and as a teacher on staff at SJRCS, that this is a very special place of which I have the privelege of being part.  I graduated from Western Maryland College in 1988 and began my teaching career as a 6th grade science teacher.  I recently completed my Master's Degree in Reading with a Reading Specialist certification.  On a personal note, I love to cook, I am an avid reader, runner, and I love to knit.  My favorite way to spend a snow day is curled up on the sofa with a good cup of coffee and a really good book!
