In 2001, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Maryland, University College and had a successful career in retail. However, inspired by a love for learning, my faith, and motherhood, I began my quest to earn a Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Mount St. Mary’s University. It has been over a decade ago since I set out to fulfill my dream of being a teacher and I am pleased to say I am living my dream as a “Catholic” school teacher. I am truly blessed to be one of the few people who get to do a job I love. While being a first grade teacher comes with many challenges, it also comes with many rewards from my students, their families, and my colleagues. My goal and hope for everyday is to inspire those around me as they inspire me.
