Mrs. Ling-Chyi Liao has a Bachelor degree of Science in China Medical University in 1984.

She enrolled the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program in Frederick Community College in 2009.



Experience

Chinese teacher for 7th grade students in Gaithersburg Chinese School since 2006.

Chinese Instructor for Asian American Center in Frederick since 2011.

Chinese teacher for pre-K3 to 5th grade students in Visitation Academy in Frederick from 2011 to 2014.

Chinese teacher for 8th grade students in St. John Regional Catholic School since 2011.



Bio

Mrs. Liao has her bachelor degree of science in China Medical University in 1984 and is currently pursuing her teaching certificate of Chinese language. She has been teaching Chinese since 2006 and plans to study Chinese in University of Maryland for a master degree next year. She participated STARTALK Chinese STEM Program in 2012 and taught students as one of the two lead teachers. In 2014, she participated STARTALK Chinese STEM Program as an instruction lead coordinator and lead teacher that she developed program curriculum as well as lesson plans. Teaching Chinese is her profession and she has great enthusiasm in education. She always learns to improve her teaching pedagogy to motivate students' great interest in learning Chinese.
